Night to Shine is an unforgettable opportunity to bring joy to the hearts of individuals with special needs and to remind them that they are royalty in God’s eyes. It is also a reminder for us that they deserve to shine on all days of the year, the mission that SKILD strives to achieve. On the fourth Night to Shine hosted in Lebanon, 50 special royals entered on the red carpet, out-shined celebrities, and wore their crowns and tiaras with pride when they were crowned by the end of the event.

Between cheering crowds, the special guests entered with their parents with smiles on their faces and twinkles in their eyes that hid a thousand tears and broken dreams for not being included in the society at a younger age. Celebrations began with pampering our special guests! Volunteers gathered around them for hairdos, shoe-shining, baking, and creating special beaded jewelry. The paparazzi did not leave our stars as they grabbed a every chance they got to take their pictures on two photobooths, wishing they can also reflect their inner beauty.

The highlight of this year was the presence of basketball championships who not crowned, danced with, and pampered our guests, but also shot some baskets with them in a fun competition!
