Dewayne and his wife, Lesa, have been married for 39 years. Together they have three daughters and three grandchildren. God called Dewayne into ministry in 2005. Prior to that he worked in management level manufacturing positions. Since 2014, Dewayne has served as Executive Pastor at Sunnyvale First Baptist Church. At the recommendation of a close friend, Dewayne began learning about MEBO the following year, and in 2015, he joined MEBO’s Board of Trustees. He was elected Chairman of the board in 2016. Today Dewayne continues to serve on the board, and began his new role with MEBO in March 2017. He is passionate about the vision for service and unique opportunities MEBO offers the western church in partnership with Middle Eastern Christian leaders. Dewayne and Lesa make their home in Fate, Texas, a small city in Rockwall County.
